Why do we need Ready Set Go ?
Over recent years there have been enormous changes to the Compliance Standards and what is expected and required by all Religious Not-For-Profit movements.
What is the aim of Ready Set Go ?
Our aim is to have each and every SUNSW Approved Ministry be as safe and compliant as possible for the protection of our volunteers and participants.
Who needs to do the Ready Set Go process?
Everyone! Whether you are running an annual camp, event or mission or have a great idea for a new one, you need to complete the Ready Set Go process.
What is the Ready Set Go process?
Ready Set Go is a three-step process. Each step has a dedicated interactive PDF that is due at certain times over the lead up to your ministry. These forms and all associated documents are to be emailed to [email protected]
READY – early as 12 months but no later than 6 months in advance of your ministry
SET – 3 months before the start of your ministry
GO – 2 weeks before the start of your ministry
Step 1: READY (Download)
Please submit as early as 12 months but no later than 6 months in advance of the proposed ministry.
READY, is the step that notifies SUNSW of your vision. This step includes basic information allowing the Operations Team to assess its suitability and on Approval, your ministry will be placed on our website for Expressions of Interest enquiries.
Step 2: SET (Download)
Please submit a minimum of 3 months before the start of your ministry.
SET, is the most comprehensive step in the process, however we have created 6 associated documents in multiple formats to help guide you. These associated documents are numbered to correspond with each requirement of SET and can be found below in multiple formats. Please note that staff are available to help you if needed. Once SET has been submitted and approved, we can open registrations and promote your ministry on our social media platforms.
Step 3: GO! (Download)
Please submit at least 2 weeks before the start of your ministry.
GO is the final step, where you confirm that your team have all applied, been cleared and are Approved to lead. Where you confirm that all participants information has been received. It also allows you for provide any last minute changes to the information that was approved at SET stage. Your GO approval advises you that your ministry is Approved by SUNSW to go ahead.
