They’re navigating pressure, anxiety, and big questions about their future — questions about stability, identity, belonging, and purpose.

They’re searching for something steady. Something they can trust.
Many are searching for Jesus.

And right now, something is happening.
Across schools, we’re seeing a growing openness — students asking deeper questions about life, meaning, and faith.
This isn’t just something we’re noticing. It’s part of a wider movement.

Our Goal

Over the next three years, we’re stepping forward in faith to:

Double the number of lunchtime Christian groups in schools across NSW

So that more young people have the opportunity to ask questions about Jesus.

A growing opportunity in schools

Each week, Scripture Union NSW is showing up in schools right across the state. In classrooms. In hallways.
In lunchtime groups.
We don’t wait for students to come to us.
We go to them.

And as we do, something powerful happens. Students attending lunchtime groups with their parent’s permission find a safe space to ask honest questions. They
explore who Jesus is… and lives begin to change.

There is a growing opportunity to meet young students in NSW with the transformative message of
Jesus.

We don’t want to miss this opportunity

Right now, across NSW students are searching, asking deep questions and the opportunity to reach them
is growing.

But we’re not yet able to step into every opportunity in front of us.

There are still students without a space to ask questions. Still schools without a lunchtime Christian group. And more
young people ready to explore who Jesus is.

This is the moment we’re in. And with the right support, we can reach more of them.
