Frequently Asked Questions - NCJAC
What will I need to bring?
All camping gear will be provided, though you will need to bring bedding. Prior to camp, you will receive an information pack by email with all the details of what other things you will need to bring.
Do I need to have any agriculture experience to come?
Nope! The program is designed to be accessible to teens who have had experience on farms, and those who haven't!
Do I need to have a church background to come?
Nope! We would love to have you whether you've grown up attending a church or have never set foot in a church before, or anywhere in between!
What is the Christian component of the camp?
Each day we're going to open up Bibles and talk about Jesus. There will usually be a short, age-appropriate presentation, as well as some group discussion time. NCJAC is a safe place for teens to discuss what they think (and where they stand) on life, eternity, God, Jesus and the Bible.
There will also be some singing, skits, testimonies and each camper will also learn to tell one short story from the Bible.
How much is the cost and is financial assistance available?
North Coast Junior Ag Camp costs $250/pp, though various subsidies are available to those in need.
How do I get to camp?
Travel to and from camp is the responsibility of the camper's parents/guardians.
