What is D2BD?

Dare 2b Different (D2BD) is a five-day Christian camp for all high schoolers - those with additional needs and those without. Get ready for unforgettable camp activities, games, singing, making new friends and about God. We also celebrate together with a very special Under The Sea - themed New Years Eve party.

At D2BD, everyone belongs. Our activities and Bible teaching are designed so that everyone can participate. We have a high ratio of leaders to campers, and our team includes a registered nurse, an occupational therapist, and many experienced leaders who are passionate about helping every camper feel safe, supported and included. Most importantly, everyone can learn how much Jesus loves them!

Who can we cater for?

Dare 2b Different seeks to cater for people of all abilities, due to the limitations of our leader's team we do have a limited number of spots for campers with high physical care needs. Please contact us if you would like to talk more with us about the needs of your child and how we might be able to include them.

A Day at D2BD

8.30am - Breakfast

9.30am - Morning Session 1: songs, craft & bible stories

10.45am - Morning Tea and Games

11.45am - Morning Session 2: songs, bible talk & discussion groups

1230pm - Lunch

1.45pm - Camp Activity (eg rock climbing, archery & giant swing)

3.15pm - Afternoon tea & Free time

5.15pm - Prayer and quiet time

6.15pm - Dinner

7.30pm - Evening Activities

9pm - Supper, Songs and Story

9.30pm - Bed Time

10pm - Lights out

What is the cost?

D2BD registration is $400, which includes accommodation, food and all activities. There are sibling discounts and finanical aid available.

Where is D2BD

We meet every year at Wedderburn Christian Campsite, located near Campbelltown, Sydney. The site is fully wheelchair accessible and has a pool, rock climbing, archery, flying fox and more.
