What is D2BD?
Dare 2b Different is a Christian camp for all high schoolers, those with additional needs and those without. We spend 5 days doing camp activities, swimming, singing, playing games and learning from the
Bible. On D2BD everyone is included. The games, activities and teaching are designed for everyone to be able participate. We have a high ratio of leaders to campers so that everyone can have the help they need. We believe that everyone can learn about how much Jesus loves them because he loves all of us!
Who can we cater for?
Dare 2b Different seeks to cater for people of all abilities, due to the limitations of our leader's team we do have a limited number of spots for campers with high physical care needs. Please contact us if you would like to talk more with us about the needs of your child and how we might be able to include them.
A day at D2BD
8am - Breakfast
9am - Morning Session and group time
1030 - Games and morning tea
1230 - Lunch
130 - Campground activity (eg flying fox)
230 - Free time
5pm - Paired and Individual Bible Reading
6pm - Dinner
7pm - Night Games and Activities
9pm - Supper, Songs and Story
930 - Bed Time
10pm - Lights out

James (Watto) has been on D2BD for the last 3 years and can't wait for camp this year! He loves to run marathons and eat burgers - the former gives a good excuse for the latter. Watto is a member of C3 Church City where he loves to encourage young adults to live out their faith in the workplace.

Jocelyn serves as Assistant Minister at All Saints, Petersham. She has been loving and serving Jesus for as long as she can remember. She loves teaching the Bible to people of all ages and spends lots of time talking about Jesus over coffee. She has been serving as a leader on Dare 2B Different since 2016 and they are by far the best New Years Eves parties she’s ever been to.
