Our LC21 theme is “LACK NO THING”. Speaker Hughie McCowen will help us explore the book of James which teaches that God’s people “lack nothing” (James 1:4) 

LC21 will deliver training and leadership skills for established and emerging student leaders in years 9-12. It’s a fun and affirming time to get creative, and be challenged in how you lead in your school, church, community and beyond! 

LC21 has a daily program 9am-8pm. Travelling students have the option of four nights at The Bunkhouse Tamworth at an additional cost of $120, which includes breakfast. Daily transport will be provided. Fee help is available.

We welcome Christian students of any background.

To adhere to NSW Government guidelines, Scripture Union NSW has taken the following steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of Campers and volunteers.
  • Reduced number of participants, both campers and volunteers.
  • All participants will be screened upon arrival at camp, including temperature checks. Anyone who has been unwell, or in a hotspot will be excluded.
  • All participants' health will be monitored throughout camp.
  • Strict plans in place should cold/ flu symptons be present, as per NSW schools. Parents will be notified of these plans ahead of camp.
  • Sleeping and dining arrangements are adjusted to maintain appropriate social distancing between participants.
  • Each Camp will have a dedicated COVID wardens overseeing cleaning and hygiene.
  • No visitors will be allowed to enter camp sites.
  • SUNSW will keep records for all participants to enable contract tracing in the event of a participant having a positive test within 14 days of camp.
  • In the event of the camp needing to be cancelled due to COVID19 all participants will receive a full refund
All SU NSW Camps have Senior First Aid qualified leaders who will deliver first-response treatment in the event of an injury or illness. A decision is then made about whether further medical attention is needed and if the camper needs to visit a medical centre or hospital. The Director will contact the parent or guardian as soon as possible if outside medical attention is required for your child and if there are any major incidents that occur involving your child.
This is a responsibility of the parent/guardian, please contact the director if assistance is required. For further information please contact the Camp Director.
Most students who attend start off like this. But with all the programmed activities or workshops and discussion groups alike you will feel connected in no time, making like- minded friends!
Full-funding is available for anyone from drought-affected areas Other discounts also available. Applications are part of the online registration for Leadership Conference. On the second page, under 'Have you made, or do you wish to make, an application for financial support?,' select 'Yes' from the dropdown menu, fill in the 'Kids to Camp' application form.  Once submitted, please ensure you finish completing your registration form, and someone will be in touch with you shortly!

Prior to camp, you will receive a ‘camp information pack’ by email with all the details of what you will need to bring to camp. Drop off and pick up times and location of the camp will also be included.
Most days look the same starting with solo time with God, then onto the main session which includes music, book reviews and the bible talk; followed with discussion groups. After lunch its workshop time to add more practical and godly skills to your leadership tool box and free time to hang with your new friends!! The evenings are school prayer and mystery fun events.
Not all leaders are preachers. Comforting someone can be leadership of equal value. Leadership Conference will teach you about many different ways you can lead.
Leadership Conference is available to any NSW school student who is in grade 9-12 who is keen to not only grow in their leadership ability but relationship with God. The adult team leaders who are attending conference have had experience in either participating in a lunchtime group or currently leading a group.
For students who don’t have local accommodation dormitory style accommodation is available at the Bunkhouse Tamworth. This can be booked and paid for as part of your registration, for an extra $120, which includes breakfast. Two male and two female team members will transport and supervise these students.
