Young people are navigating an overwhelming array of opinions and ideas on a daily basis. But beyond that, in some schools it's hard to simply get permission to meet as Christians.
Despite these challenges, with the backing of Scripture Union NSW, young Christians are standing firm in the gospel.
Students have said things like “I think I think we better quieten down a bit about Christianity”. And I say to them – “Gosh, too late! Everybody knows you're a Christian and their eyes are on you.”
We know it’s a big ask. But more workers in the school space are needed - to meet with and encourage Christian teachers, volunteers and students across the state. Will you help us get there?
"It's such a critical time where kids are making up their mind about who they're going to be and trying on different ideas. Having a place where students can explore Jesus is so important."
